As our team grows, we’re looking for an Engineering Technician to help support production, development, and quality processes from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

As an Engineering Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting both our engineering and production teams. You’ll assist with the development, testing, and troubleshooting of products and equipment, contributing to continuous improvement and product reliability. Your work will directly impact the quality and performance of our resistive components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support engineering staff in the setup, testing, calibration, and documentation of resistive products
  • Assist in the assembly and prototyping of new designs and custom resistor configurations
  • Help troubleshoot production and process issues to minimize downtime
  • Maintain and operate testing equipment and instruments
  • Monitor quality metrics and ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Document changes to designs, processes, and equipment for traceability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, QA, maintenance) to drive efficiency
  • Provide feedback on manufacturability, tooling needs, or product improvement opportunities

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone mechanically inclined, detail-driven, and eager to support both technical and production needs. Ideal candidates will have experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment and be comfortable with hands-on, shop-floor work.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or technical training in Electronics, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with soldering, testing equipment, or calibration tools
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Experience with small parts assembly or resistor manufacturing is a plus
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and safety protocols
  • Strong communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
